
Artist Statement: I am rediscovering the interaction of ink and paper in the small rendering images I would have done in pencil in the past in ink and watercolor.

Roy Beckemeyer, of Wichita, Kansas is a retired engineer, a poet, and a photographer who has travelled the world with camera and journal. One of his areas of specialty is macrophotography of insects. His photographic work was featured in the 2017 issue of Konza Journal. A sample of his photographs appears on his author’s page. He is also a book editor and designer.
