MockingHeart Review is an online literary and art journal. Founded as a poetry magazine in 2015 by Louisiana poet Clare L. Martin, MHR is now under the editorship of poet and critic Tyler Robert Sheldon.

Our aesthetic is ever expanding, and since 2019 the journal features fine poetry and artwork alike. Past issues have included work by poets from Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Germany, Nigeria, Pakistan, Serbia, and the United States, among other places, including several US state Poets Laureate. We’re also proud to have published a wide variety of visual artists, including ceramicists, photographers, painters, mixed media artists, digital artists, a master engraver, and more.
