Hello brave Clare & Helpful Tyler, Clare, you can do this today, in Day One of Recovery. And each day forward! BRAVA! to you! I know of complex cancer as I know the lines in my palm, having now only one remaining lone kidney, the cancerous one removed, & helped also with treatments & test as a result of Istage V cancer. I”m no med. pro, but I would seriously consider taking the pain meds, prescribed ,& take anti-inflamation meds prescribed. These may help you recover. I’m so pleased you have a great healer-physician. I too am fortunate with a great team of MDs & the support crew. Do you know these titles, Ramshackle Ode, by Keith Leonard, Transplant, Transport Transbutantiation by Marjorie Maddox, Fugitive Pigments from Ruth Bavetta & Old Bones & True Stories from Dina Standler. These are beacons for me, among many more famous, others, especially the Mark Twain humore award books & ceremony videos. Laughter brought into my medical settings is often as crucial as all the other assistances. Bless. You.
